This 24 year old Nigerian lady says she's slept with 600 men

 The unidentified lady claims she slept with over 600 men in a year. That is definitely an exaggeration because we only have 365 days in a year and if you had every day with different men, (which is impossible, cmon!) you still have to account for about 235 days. Anyway, the student of a vocational institute in Owerri, Imo State, told Sunday Sun that she resorted to using her body for money when her boyfriend who was sponsoring her education abandoned her.

“My boyfriend whom I met at Onitsha, Anambra State when I went to visit an un­cle was sponsoring my education. We had agreed to get married as soon as possible. Then some people I regarded as friends started peddling wicked lies against me and without confirming if what they were saying was true or false, he called it quits just like that. They told him I had an incur­able disease. So, I decided to help myself because my parents cannot do anything for me. We are poor” she explained.

Unknown murdered lady dumped at Olomore refuse dump (photo)

The people around St. Peters' area, Olomore, Abeokuta were shocked today to find the body of a dark-skinned lady dumped at the refuse dump near the taxi park. The lady looked like she'd been tortured as one arm had a deep cut. People in the area called the police who came and after almost three hours, removed the body. Bobby Brown's wife Alicia Etheredge was rushed to an Atlanta area hospital after suffering a seizure. Alicia suffered the seizure at a hotel the family was staying at on Saturday night after Bobbi Kristina's funeral ... she was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. According to a source, once Alicia got to the hospital, she was able to walk inside with little help. Bobby Brown is by her side.

Ekiti governorship election tribunal upholds Fayose's election

An Ekiti state governorship election tribunal sitting in Abuja has upheld the June 21st governorship election in Ekiti state in which Ayo Fayose was declared winner.

 At a sitting today Dec. 19th, the tribunal dismissed the petition filed by the APC and its candidate, Kayode Fayemi, challenging the victory of Gov Ayo Fayose in the governorship election. The court in its ruling said the petition filed by the APC was “lacking in merit”.

According to eye-witnesses, robbers who robbed a bank along Summit Express, were exchanging gun fire with police when Clems got hit by a stray bullet. He was just 37 years old. May his soul rest in peace...Amen.

Panic in Bayelsa state as soldier runs amok, kills colleague

There was pandemonium yesterday night among security agencies in Yenagoa, Bayelsa after a soldier suspected to be drunk, shot and killed his colleague during an argument.
 According to eye-witnesses, the incident happened around 11pm on Monday night at Olopa Junction, very close to Bayelsa state Government House.

Child labour: 6 year old boy photographed hawking drinks

 Here are photos of a little boy, not more than 6 years old, spotted hawking drinks as early as 10 this morning in Lagos. I know some people need to make ends meet to survive but sending a child this young to the street is wrong on every level. This is so heartbreaking to see!

UN worker dies of Ebola in Germany

A United Nation Aids worker who was being treated for Ebola at the St George clinic in Leipzig, Germany has died. The unidentified UN worker who was flown back to Germany from Liberia last week after contracting the deadly virus, died in the early hours of today, October 14th. A statement from the hospital read;
 "The Ebola patient died during the night in the St. George Clinic in Leipzig. Despite intensive medical measures and maximum efforts by the medical team, the 56 year old succumbed to the serious infectious disease"

Big Brother Hotshots rep, Tayo Faniran welcomes son with girlfriend

 Before he went into the Big Brother Africa House, Nigerian rep Tayo Faniran and his girlfriend were expecting their first child together. Tayo received the joyous news on the show yesterday during his diary session that his girlfriend had given birth to a baby boy (pictured right). The little bundle of joy has since been named Akintoye. Congrats to them.

The Vatican has asked for gay men and women to be given a chance in the catholic faith as they have gifts and qualities to offer the church.
 This call was made in a document released yesterday October 13th by the Vatican after a week-long Synod (Council of a church, usually convened to decide an issue of doctrine,) attended by about 200 bishops, who deliberated and came up with the resolution contained in a document which is known by its latino name "relatio", "Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer the Christian community: are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a further space in our communities? Often they wish to encounter a Church that offers them a welcoming home," the document read..
 The document also asked the Church to challenge itself to find 'a fraternal space' for homosexuals without compromising Catholic doctrine on family and matrimony.
